Advantages of being an ICOM-Ghana National Committee member

ICOM offers a unique vision with an international scope that promotes innovation and professional development. Joining ICOM offers the possibility of being in contact with over 17,000 museum professionals from around the world, through publications, conferences and meetings.

ICOM Ghana will inform all its members of the latest news and developments in the field of Museology and will invite them to participate in any events organized by the National Committee. The ICOM member has the possibility of joining an International Committee and may benefit of free admission in museums around the world.

The ICOM member will receive ICOM News, a quarterly publication; he/she will benefit a special discount on UNESCO's Museum International magazine and on any ICOM publications. The member will be invited to participate into the annual meeting of the International Committee of his/her choice and will have access to ICOM Information Centre.

The Institutional members receive a free subscription to MUSEUM International, three membership cards and they have the possibility of being member of three International Committees.
